What does the session involve?
The first thing we will do is have a discussion about what you are looking to get out of the session to make sure we can tailor it your your needs. Each session will be slightly different depending on the focus of the session and the swimmer however, in general sessions follow a similar routine.
After an initial warm up in the pool we will observe you swimming at a few different paces and take some video footage both above and below the water. After this initial observation and video capture we generally jump out of the pool to review the footage and discuss the observations we have made. We’ll then provide some initial feedback and thoughts on where best to focus to improve your stroke.
After this discussion, we jump back into the pool and ask you to try some drills or changes to your technique to obtain immediate feedback and overserve any positive or negative changes to your stroke.
By the end of the session you should have a good idea of where any issues lie and what changes you can make to improve.
